Testing and Evaluation Unit has been established under English Preparation Program of the School of Foreign Languages at Mardin Artuklu University. The objective of the establishment of the Unit is to prepare, develop, conduct and implement all written/oral exams conducted at the English Preparation Program. These exams are the Exemption Exam, Proficiency Exams, Pop Quizzes, Midterm Exams and Course Final Exams. Testing and Evaluation Unit prepares valid and reliable exams, which measure four basic skills of the students, in coordination with other units and academic staff. Furthermore, the Unit identifies evaluation criteria for the required portfolio studies and prepares necessary rubrics. In addition, the Unit, measures and evaluates results of all exams conducted in the English Preparation Program with already identified objectives, and shares the results with other units and instructors.
