The exams administered at MAÜ-TÖMER are designed to assess students' language skills and evaluate their readiness to advance to the next level.

1. Level Placement Exam

This exam is administered before students begin their courses to measure their current language proficiency level.

It consists of written and oral sections.

Based on the results, students are placed in appropriate groups.

2. Midterm Exams

These exams are administered throughout each course to track students' progress.

They cover listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Participation and performance are evaluated along with in-class activities.

In this case, the evaluation is based on 30% of the student's midterm exam grade and 70% of their final exam grade.

3. Final Exam

This is administered at the end of each level.

Students with a grade point average of 60/100 or higher are eligible to advance to the next level.

Students who fail can repeat the same level.

4. Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS)

Applied to students who successfully complete the C1 level.

It is a valid document for international students who wish to begin undergraduate and graduate education at universities.

Students who are successful in the TYS are awarded a “Turkish Proficiency Certificate.”
