Department of Turkish Language and Literature started education in 2010/2011. The main purpose of this department is to train competent educator, scholars, researchers and teachers in the field of Turkish language and literature. In addition to this, graduates have some opportunities for employing in a wide variety of job fields such as archiving and librarianship, especially in the press and broadcasting and radio-television sectors. They can join to conferences, symposiums, interviews and commemoration meetings organized by the department.
