In the department of Old Turkish Literature, poets who have effects on the centuries after them such as Yunus Emre, Hoca Dehhânî, Fuzûlî, Bâkî, Nâbî, Nedîm, Şeyh Galib are discussed. In addition to this, the poems written by these poets with various contents are investigated. This department endeavours to develop traditional value in an uninterrupted way and to bring it to our time.
