Kasımiye Madrasa: When Kasımiye, son of Cihangir, the ruler of Akkoyunlu, is appointed to Mardin, a feverish
activity begins to repair the city. He built this multi-purpose madrasa that crowns this devoted work and can
stand up to this day with its perfect structure (1469). Tile vaulted porticos and the thromp-domed mosque,
widened with deep vaults towards the sides, is connected to the central pool through the selectable canals
of the large iwan in the courtyard with portico. It is in the form of a complex with a two-storey madrasa,
mosque and tomb on two terraces.

on the same date as the Sıtraziya Mosque. Hatuniye Madrasa is a two-storey building with a courtyard with
two iwans and porticoes. Next to the main iwan, there is a tomb with a relief decorated trumpet dome.

and the other iwan is in the middle of the cross vaulted porches in the west. There is a small mosque to the
south of the madrasa. Today's minaret has a spiral structure with double stairs leading to the Şeref. Built in 1916

The stone engravings at the entrance of the madrasa are remarkable. It has two courtyards and two floors, and it
attracts attention from a distance with its sliced domes, which are well spread out with the spaces outside the
courtyard. There are Sultan Isa Tomb and many old inscriptions in the madrasa. The purpose of the madrasa to be
established at a height is because it is used as an observatory. When the light hits the stone used in the mihrab,
it turns into a riot of colors. It was also used as a museum.
