Our university's Zero Waste and Environmental Management Coordination Department has organized various training activities to raise awareness of zero waste and ensure sustainable environmental management. These training programs were designed with diverse content for academic and administrative staff, students, and service providers.
Within the scope of training;
· Introduction of the Zero Waste Management System ,
The process of collecting waste separately at source ,
· Correct use of 4-piece waste bins ,
· Operation of temporary waste storage areas,
· Environmental legislation, regulations and university guidelines,
Information was provided on sustainability and environmentally friendly individual behavioral habits.
Training programs were implemented in the form of seminars, workshops, and informational meetings, and awareness materials were shared digitally. These activities aimed to encourage university members to actively participate in the zero-waste process and ensure the implementation of these practices became permanent .
