In order to enhance and enhance international visibility of our university's sustainability efforts, our university has joined the UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Network , which evaluates the environmental performance of higher education institutions worldwide, since 2022. This membership allows our university's sustainability activities in energy management, waste management, water use, transportation, infrastructure, education, and research to be evaluated on an international scale.

Throughout the accession process, our university has systematically reported on its sustainable practices and solidified its success with a rapid rise in the UI GreenMetric rankings . This demonstrates that our university's environmental awareness, waste management, and energy efficiency efforts align with international standards.

This membership has also increased opportunities for international collaboration and experience sharing for our university , contributing to the development and dissemination of sustainable campus practices. Our university's rapid growth has also motivated us to raise environmental awareness among students, faculty, and administrative staff.

In this context, participation in UI GreenMetric is considered as an important strategic step that ensures, develops and makes visible the monitoring of our university's zero waste and environmental management activities on an international scale .
