Ranking 28th among Turkish universities , MAU continued its rising performance in sustainability in 2025.

Steady Rise Over the Years

MAU's Türkiye ranking in UI GreenMetric assessments since 2022 reveals a remarkable momentum:

• 2024: 34th row

• 2025: 28th row

The same success trend was also seen on the international rankings. The university has climbed from 539th to 227th globally in the last three years, a strong climb of 312 places in total .

In the 2025 evaluation, the scores obtained by MAU according to categories are as follows:

• Energy and Climate Change: 1450

• Waste Management: 1475

• Water Management: 800

• Transportation: 1462.5

• Education and Research: 1675

These results revealed that the university strongly responds to sustainability criteria in both infrastructure and academic studies.
