As part of the Quality Management System studies, an internal audit was conducted on December 18, 2025, by the Quality and Accreditation Coordination Office of our University at the Zero Waste and Environmental Management Coordination Office operating within our Vocational School, in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System .
During the internal audit process, the effectiveness of quality management system applications, the traceability of processes, the suitability of the documentation structure, and continuous improvement activities were comprehensively evaluated. The audit revealed that the activities carried out were planned in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and were conducted within a systematic framework.
The internal audit was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semra GÜRBÜZ and Şeyhmus AĞIRAKÇA , and assessments were made regarding current practices in terms of quality assurance, environmental sustainability, and corporate development, while strengths and areas for improvement were discussed.
The internal audit conducted has made a significant contribution to strengthening the quality-oriented management approach of our Zero Waste and Environmental Management Coordination Unit, increasing the effectiveness of processes, and institutionalizing a culture of continuous improvement.
