In response to student demand, the MAU Zero Waste and Environment Student Society was established with the participation of volunteers. Since its inception, the Society has actively promoted zero waste awareness both within the university and on social media.

Community members volunteer in all activities carried out by the Zero Waste and Environmental Management Coordination and support the activities to reach wider audiences.

The MAU Zero Waste and Environment Student Community, under the guidance of Instructor Durmuş Ali Tekdamar , continues its activities and aims to raise students' environmental awareness and raise awareness in the field of sustainability.
