Our university's Zero Waste and Environmental Management Coordination Unit conducted a current situation assessment with the participation of the coordinator, assistant coordinators, and unit zero waste officers . This assessment evaluated the effectiveness of waste management processes across the main campus and all campuses affiliated with our university.

Within the scope of the studies, in particular;

· Existing practices for separating waste at source have been reviewed,

· Waste production points were determined according to student and staff density,

· It is planned to position 4 waste separation boxes in the required areas ,

The number, condition and accessibility of existing waste collection equipment are reported.

With this process, the infrastructure that paves the way for the effective separation of waste at source on our university campuses has been established, deficiencies have been recorded and planning has been made for the necessary improvement works.
