In the international evaluation process, which included 1,745 universities from 105 countries, our University achieved a general success rate of 80.38%, scoring 8037.5 out of 10,000 points, and ranked 227th among the world's most sustainable universities . This achievement demonstrates our University's committed approach to environmental sustainability, combating climate change, and the efficient use of resources.

Within the scope of the UI GreenMetric assessment, activities carried out in the areas of campus and infrastructure , energy and climate change , waste management , water management , transportation , and education and research were examined in detail; it was determined that our University demonstrated strong performance, especially in the areas of waste management, education-research, and energy-climate change .

The UI GreenMetric 2025 Certificate obtained is a concrete indication that Mardin Artuklu University's activities in line with its zero-waste practices, environmental management system studies, and sustainable campus goals have been internationally recognized.

Our university will continue to resolutely pursue its efforts in line with sustainable development goals, focusing on quality and continuous improvement, while increasing awareness of environmental responsibility.
