ZERO WASTE AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT COORDINATION OFFICE
The Unit was established under the Rectorate of Mardin Artuklu University by Decision No. 02, adopted at the Senate Meeting No. 13 on 14 June 2021, within the scope of the ‘Zero Waste Project’ launched by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey and covering all institutions. It carries out activities to separate waste at source, promote recycling, and prevent waste in line with sustainable development principles. It coordinates the implementation of the Zero Waste Management System across the university.
