Mardin Artuklu University Art History Department has achieved a significant success by continuing its academic development. In line with the decision taken by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the opening of an Art History Doctoral Program has been approved within our department.

With this decision, our Art History Department has gained a strong academic structure that will contribute to scientific studies on a national and international scale by providing education at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.

The newly opened doctoral program aims to train academics and researchers who can make original contributions to the discipline of art history and who will direct the development of the field with scientific research and publications.
