About Program

Vision

The vision of the program is to establish an inclusive and equitable institutional culture grounded in local and universal values, centered on children and their rights. Through interdisciplinary studies based on scientific and ethical principles, the program aims to generate knowledge that can be transformed into policy and practice; to develop sustainable collaborations with local, national, and international stakeholders; and to contribute to the field by cultivating original and creative individuals through innovative programs and practices.

Mission

The mission of the program is to educate experts in child development and education who are creative, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, respectful of human rights, appreciative of diversity, and motivated to learn—based on the principles of universal science and education.

Objective

The program aims to train child development professionals who can identify the developmental characteristics of children aged 0–18, including those with typical development, special needs, or at developmental risk; who can design and implement educational programs that support cognitive, linguistic, psychomotor, social-emotional, and self-care development; who can raise family and community awareness about child development; who effectively use current knowledge, skills, and technology in the field; and who are committed to ethical principles, professional responsibility, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.

Graduates will be qualified to work in the following institutions and organizations:

  • Public and private early childhood education institutions (kindergartens) affiliated with the Ministry of National Education

  • Daycare centers, children’s homes, and nurseries

  • Special education and rehabilitation centers

  • Children’s publishing and toy industries

  • Non-governmental organizations and voluntary associations

  • Child development centers

  • Playrooms in hospitals and pediatric clinics

Undergraduate programs accessible through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS):
Child Development, Preschool Teaching, Special Education Teaching, Social Work, and Health Management.
