Students must successfully complete all courses totaling 240 ECTS credits in the curriculum.
A minimum overall grade point average of 60 out of 100 is required.
Students must attend at least 80% of practical classes and at least 70% of theoretical classes.
Students can take a maximum of 40 hours of classes per week. A semester consists of 15 weeks.
MIDWIFERY DEPARTMENT GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Provide counseling to pregnant women, including at least 100 prenatal examinations.
Provide prenatal care and follow-up to at least 40 pregnant women.
Perform at least 40 deliveries without assistance. If the number of women giving birth is low, perform at least 30 deliveries without assistance and assist in 20 deliveries.
Actively participate in breech deliveries. If breech delivery is not possible, perform it using simulation.
Suture episiotomies or simple perianal tears and, when necessary, perform this procedure using simulation.
Provide care and monitor 40 women at risk during pregnancy, delivery, or the postpartum period.
Monitor and provide care for at least 100 postpartum women and healthy newborns, including physical examinations.
Provide care that includes education, theoretical knowledge, and clinical practice to protect and improve health in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics, and care for women with pathological conditions.
Observe and care for newborn babies, including those requiring special care, premature, postmature, low birth weight, or sick babies.
