Mardin Artuklu University Faculty of Health Sciences adopts an educational approach based on scientific and technological methods to protect, improve, and maintain the health of individuals, families, and society, and it is founded on the principle of equal opportunity in education. Our faculty considers supporting the academic, social, and personal development of our students with disabilities to be one of its fundamental responsibilities.
The Disability Student Unit, established for this purpose, provides individual support services to enable our students with different types of disabilities to participate actively, safely, and with dignity in faculty life. Our unit is active in many areas, including accessibility, counseling, exam accommodations, social participation, and awareness-raising activities.
The Disability Student Unit continues its work in collaboration with relevant academic units and the University's Disability Student Unit Coordination Office, with an approach that considers the needs of our students and directly involves them in the process.
As the Disability Student Unit of our Faculty, our primary goal is to create a fair, accessible, and inclusive educational environment where all our students can access knowledge, learning, and academic life on equal terms.
