A Strategy Meeting Focused on Quality and Digital Transformation Was Held Within the Scope of MAU’s 2030 Vision
Within the framework of the “Regional Meetings for the Turkish Higher Education Vision Towards 2030” conducted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), our university held an significant evaluation meeting on May 27, 2025. Academic and administrative representatives from various university units attended the meeting which was chaired by MAU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan.
The main agenda of the meeting was shaped by “Quality-Oriented Process Management and Leadership Action Plan Proposals,” which guidethe university’s strategic goals for 2025–2030. Participants discussed strategies to enhance the sustainability of quality assurance in higher education, digital transformation, institutional accreditation processes, the integration of new-generation technologies such asartificial intelligence and big data, sustainability-oriented education programs, and methods to increase the university’s national and international visibility.
Lecturer Hanife Yeşilyurt, Assistant Coordinator at the Project Coordination Office, attended the meeting and shared her views on the office’s role in quality-oriented processes and its contributions to the university’s strategic goals.
In his closing remarks, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan stated, “Strategic gatherings like these, which guide the process of quality and innovation-oriented transformation in higher education, will ensure that the steps our university takes towards the university’s 2030 vision are built on solid foundations. We will steadfastly continue this process.”
