The "Industrialist Graduate Meeting," one of the activities to be carried out under the "Vocational and Technical Education" theme determined for 2019 under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was hosted by the Dicle Development Agency with the support of our Office.

The event, which brought together officials from exemplary industrial enterprises operating in Mardin with students and graduates from the Mardin Artuklu University Vocational School and the Mardin Provincial Directorate of National Education Vocational and Technical High School, took place in the Dicle Development Agency's conference hall. The event, organized by our Office, saw a large turnout, with both students and graduates filling the hall to capacity.

The Industrialist Graduate Meeting, organized under the leadership of our Office and in collaboration with the Dicle Development Agency and the Mardin Provincial Directorate of National Education, was attended by representatives from the Organized Industrial Zone Directorate, the Labor and Employment Agency Directorate, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, and companies operating in the Mardin Organized Industrial Zone.

The opening remarks of the program were delivered by Yılmaz Altındağ, Secretary General of the Dicle Development Agency, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cemal Oğuz, Dean of the Faculty of Science, on behalf of Mardin Artuklu University. In his speech, Yılmaz Altındağ explained that the program's goal is to connect students and school administrations with businesses in need of workforce to establish networking opportunities to increase the employability of vocational school graduates or prospective graduates. He said, "It is crucial that executives from industrial enterprises in Mardin who can serve as role models share their experiences with them to guide our young people who are about to enter the workforce. I believe that industrialists with life experience have much to share with our students and graduates. They will make the most of this opportunity, which has come to them, by asking their questions face-to-face."

Following the opening remarks, a session focused on industrialists sharing their experiences began. The session was moderated by Dr. Ahmet Kayaoğlu, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Mardin Artuklu University. Evaluations from the industrialists were provided by Faysal Sun, Board Member of İpek Bulgur and President of the Mardin Bulgur Manufacturers Association; Ulaş Dural, Business Manager of Kalekim; Bülent Çelik, Administrative and Financial Affairs Manager of Mardin Boru; Halil El, Chairman of the Mardin Textile and Clothing Manufacturers Association; and Hilal Baran, Business Owner of Mahserte Tekstil.
