ABOUT THE UNIT

OUR DUTIES

Our University's Student Affairs Department is not a central system, and the affairs and transactions of each Faculty and School regarding students are carried out by their own student affairs offices, and it carries out some of the duties listed below.

1. Ensuring that statistical information is tracked, organized and delivered to the relevant authorities,

2. Notifying the Horizontal Transfer Quotas to the YÖK Presidency and University Rectorates,

3. To submit the Regulation and Directive changes that concern students to the senate and then publish them,

4. To make announcements regarding student fees,

5.Making correspondence regarding scholarships and loans,

6.Making correspondence regarding students' internships and informing them of the relevant internship quotas,

7. To inform the Student Selection and Placement Center Presidency about ÖSYM quotas,

8. Notifying the Student Selection and Placement Center Presidency about Vertical Transfer quotas,

9.Publishing the academic calendar,

10. Identifying registered students and reporting open quotas to the OSYM Presidency,

11. Checking and keeping records of diplomas prepared by Faculties, Colleges and Institutes,

12.To ensure coordination regarding the Student Council and Student Societies .

13.Entering the statistical information requested by the ÖSYM Presidency from the ÖSYM Presidency's web page.

14.To carry out procedures regarding the recruitment of foreign students

15. To inform the OSYM Presidency about the date and place of registration.

16.To transfer student information to the Institutional Statistics Database program of YÖK Presidency.

17.Printing Student ID Cards and distributing them to relevant units.
