"The Water You Save Is Your Future. Take Action Before It's Too Late!" The Erasmus+ Youth Participation Project Begins Its Second Activity

In our world where water is becoming more valuable every day, sustainable water management has become a global priority in the face of threats such as unconscious consumption of water resources, environmental pollution and climate crisis.

Water conservation means protecting life; in this context, the importance of individual and collective actions is increasing daily. With the belief that small steps taken today can make a big difference for tomorrow's generations, we invite you to participate in this process.

The Youth Participation Project, numbered 2024-3-TR01-KA154-YOU-000272738, "The Water You Save Is Your Future. Take Action Before It's Too Late!", developed within the "Environment and Climate" theme, in line with the priorities of the European Union Erasmus+ Programme for the 2021-2027 period, and implemented by Mardin Artuklu University in partnership with the Mardin Governorship, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, and Fırat University, will soon begin its second implementation activity hosted by Hatay Mustafa Kemal University.

The project's primary objective is to raise awareness among young people about water conservation and sustainable water use, to raise awareness about the protection of clean water resources, and to encourage the active participation of young people in water efficiency. The project aims to train young people as “Water and Environment Ambassadors” and contribute to policies in this field.

Second Implementation Activity:

Date: December 16-19, 2025
Location: Hatay, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University
Application Deadline: December 5, 2025
• Participants' travel, accommodation, and meal expenses will be covered by the project budget.

Application Requirements:
• Reside in Mardin, Elazığ, or Hatay provinces
• Be between the ages of 17 and 30
• Have an interest in climate, environment, and water issues
• Have the motivation to disseminate the project after the training
