
Mardin Artuklu University's 2026–2027 Internal Control Standards Compliance Action Plan Information Meeting was held on November 25th.
The training program, chaired by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan and presented by Dr. Erhan Polat, was attended by our President Hamza Talayhan, members of the Internal Control Monitoring and Steering Committee, the Internal Control Monitoring and Steering Group, the Unit Risk Assessment Committee, and relevant unit personnel.
The training program, aimed at strengthening internal control processes at our institution, was successfully implemented. Participating unit representatives were informed about the purpose of internal control, its components, risk assessment methods, and the establishment of control activities. Awareness was raised by sharing best practices on the preparation and updating of compliance action plans. At the end of the training, participants' questions were answered, and the importance of an internal control culture in corporate governance was emphasized.
