MAU has taken another significant step in preparation for its application to the Institutional Accreditation Program of the Higher Education Quality Council. Through the comprehensive internal evaluation activities carried out last week, the university reviewed its institutional capacity.
With the active participation of the university’s senior administration as well as the academic and administrative staff of the Quality and Accreditation Coordination Office, the audits meticulously analyzed MAU’s quality assurance system. The Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan, Prof. Dr. Reşit Yıldız, and Prof. Dr. Yusuf Doğan; Quality Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ; and Coordination Office Staff Lecturer Büşra Baytur, Lecturer Ferhat Ak, and Mehmet Arif Karamanoğulları attended the meetings.
During the evaluations, the university’s strengths and areas requiring improvement were addressed in detail, while it was emphasized that national and international standards are taken as the basis in educational, research, and community engagement activities. This process once again demonstrated MAU’s determination to strengthen and disseminate a quality culture at the institutional level.
University authorities emphasized that the internal evaluation activities conducted within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program represent a crucial stage that reinforces MAU’s quality-oriented management approach and accelerates its sustainable development goals. It was stated that these activities would make valuable contributions to the university’s institutional capacity in the YÖKAK process.
