To obtain information about the Kasımiye Medrese Project, led by our university and prepared for submission to DİKA, and to conduct on-site inspections, experts from the Dicle Development Agency and officials from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, accompanied by our Faculty of Tourism Dean Prof. Dr. Lokman Toprak, our faculty member Abidin Can Aktaş, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Aydın from the Faculty of Architecture, conducted inspections at the Kasımiye Medrese.

The details of the project were evaluated during the visit. Led by our university, these efforts aim to restore the Kasımiye Medrese, an important part of our historical and cultural heritage, and to renovate its surroundings in a manner consistent with the original fabric of the building.

Furthermore, this project, which will be carried out at the Kasımiye Medrese, also used as a practical training area by the Tourism Faculty's Guidance Department, will both contribute to educational processes and add new value to regional tourism.
