An orientation training program was organized for students at Mardin Artuklu University Midyat Vocational School due to the start of the new academic year.

The program was attended on 06.10.2025 by Mehmet IŞIK, Dean of Midyat Faculty of Art and Design and Director of Midyat Vocational School, along with academics from Midyat Vocational School.

During the event, students were informed about the general functioning of the university, its academic and administrative units, educational processes, and student rights and responsibilities. Additionally, explanations were provided regarding social, cultural, and sports activities, scholarship and accommodation opportunities, as well as health services.

In his speech during the program, Dean Mehmet IŞIK motivated the students for the new term and emphasized that university life is not limited to academic success alone; cultural, artistic, and social activities are also of great importance for personal development.

The program ended after answering the students’ questions and receiving their opinions.
