ABOUT
Social work, a discipline and profession, examines the many complex interactions between people and their environments. The aim of social work is to ensure that every person develops his full potential, enriches his life and prevents dysfunction. The social work profession is focused on problem solving and change. Accordingly, social workers are agents of change in society and in the lives of the individuals, families and communities they serve. Social work is an interrelated system of values, theory and practice.
GOALS
To train qualified Social Work assistants within the framework of the qualifications specified in the Goals section.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Social Work Program affiliated with the Department of Social Work and Counseling started education as formal education in 2014-2015. The student quota of the program is 40.

Associate Degree Graduate
To be placed as a result of the OSYM exam.
Graduates who successfully complete the Social Services Associate Degree program will be able to continue their educational opportunities by transferring to the Social Work and Sociology vertical transfer programs with the Dikey Geçiş Sınavı (DGS) conducted by OSYM. Graduates will also be able to transfer vertically to Anadolu University Faculties of Business and Economics, which provide distance education, without an exam, if they wish.
In order to obtain an associate degree in the field of Social Work Program, students must successfully complete all of the compulsory and elective courses (120 ECTS in total) and obtain a GPA of at least 60 out of 100 full points. In addition, he must have completed 30 working days of internship.
