BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

The program is a four-half-year higher education program aimed at training a qualified intermediate workforce that will assist in the management of business life and the administration of public administration or who can open and operate a workplace on their own behalf. Purpose

The purpose of the Business Management program is to train graduates who will meet the requirement of qualified manpower equipped with the knowledge and skills needed by enterprises that can meet the needs of the global world. For this purpose, the courses in the program are designed and processed in a way that combines theory and practice. One of the most important goals of the program is to provide students with an education in line with the most up-to-date strategic, managerial and sectoral developments that they may encounter in business life, and to prepare them for the business world as manager candidates by providing them with a management vision focused on today's and future business life.

Department/Program Admission Conditions

Within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Council (YÖK), admission of students to this program takes place through the examination system conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The Business Management Program accepts students according to the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score. After students have informed their preferences for the program they want to study, they are placed in the relevant programs by this center according to the score they have received from this exam.

Program Profile

"Business Management Associate Degree Program" is a program designed to enable employees to become more innovative and entrepreneurial (internal entrepreneurship) in enterprises that are still operating on the market, on the one hand, while covering the processes of the birth of a new enterprise (entrepreneurship) on the other hand. In the program, which is of a professional nature, the subject of business management is discussed within the framework of the understanding of entrepreneurial thinking. The fact that entrepreneurial thinking is a prerequisite for survival both in the establishment of a new business and in a business that continues to operate has been taken into account in the creation of the content of the program.

In order to successfully complete all the courses available in the program (a total of 120 ECTS) and graduate, they must be successful in all the courses prescribed in the curriculum. Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive an “Associate Degree in Business Management ”.

They have the opportunity to work in the fields of marketing, finance, accounting, public relations, personnel (human resources) in all enterprises, including the private sector or the public sector in the business world.
