Message from the Institute Director
Mardin Artuklu University's Graduate School of Education was established under the Rectorate by Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated March 4, 2020, and numbered 31058. Our Institute, which began its activities by incorporating the existing departments of the Institute of Social Sciences and the Institute of Science, which had previously accepted students since the 2010-2011 academic year, currently continues education with approximately 1,900 graduate students on campus.
Drawing strength from its historical and cultural heritage, our Institute embraces the universal values of science, fostering original research, supporting interdisciplinary studies, and incorporating a vision of intercultural coexistence into academic life. With programs across a broad spectrum, from social sciences and science to arts and health sciences, we aim to not only provide our students with knowledge but also the ability to conduct research on a global scale and develop critical thinking skills.
Our mission is to cultivate scientists who conduct original and high-quality research, contribute to scientific advancements, uphold ethical values, and possess a strong sense of social responsibility. Our vision is to cultivate innovative and solution-oriented individuals with analytical skills, who can understand and interpret technological, social, and cultural changes, and who can generate scientific solutions to the challenges faced by both our country and the surrounding region.
I wish all our master's and doctoral students who will be participating in our graduate programs during the 2025-2026 academic year a successful academic journey. I extend my gratitude to our esteemed faculty members and the invaluable staff of our Institute, who will dedicate themselves to the development of our students during this period. I wish all of us a productive, productive, and healthy semester.
