Call For Erasmus Students: Why Mardin Artuklu University?

Ancient City Mardin Where Languages and Religions Unite.

Mardin Artuklu University offers both sciencetific and colorful life in the ancient city MARDIN. There are many reasons to be a part of our faculty. The most cosmopolite city of Anatolia is Mardin. Its population is split evenly between Arabs and Kurds. Historically, as a rich cultural hub with traces from Muslim, Syriac, Yakubi, Chaldean, Nesturi, Yezidi, Jewish, Kurdish, Arab, Chechen, and Armenian influences.

 

Gastronomy

The existence of different ethnic groups in the city has prepared the ground for the enrichment of the food culture.

Craftsmanship
The city has a history of craftsmanship dating back to the Neolithic period.

Culture

The city, which has hosted many cultures, has hosted many civilizations throughout history.

Tourism

Resembling an open-air museum, Mardin has intense tourist interest.
