Students are trained to be able to transform handicrafts into production by assimilating them both in terms of application and creativity, with the education they receive on the principles of creativity, aesthetics, use of technology, and functional production. In our department, which offers learning opportunities through a wide range of creative experiences to students who are interested in the fields of jewelry, design, and art, applied courses focused on the art of jewelry are given. Cultural and field courses that play a key role in the development of students; It is supported by internships, workplace training, fairs, exhibitions, research, seminars, creative designs and applications. Graduates of this department have the opportunity to open their own workshops as studio jewelers or to assume responsibility in different areas and levels of production in the jewelry industry.

Department of Metalcraft and Jewelry Design's aim;

• To train artists who can integrate our achievements from traditional jewelry culture with the achievements of today's contemporary jewelry and high technology, who are well-equipped and have an intellectual perspective, and who can produce innovative and original works,
• To train students/designers who can spread the work done according to contemporary design and fashion concepts to the world and who will cooperate with all similar schools in the world in international relations.
