Department of Economics offers its students the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program and spend a semester or a year abroad at one of the partner universities. Our department has been actively participating in the European Union Erasmus+ Program since 2015.
Studying abroad will introduce students a whole new world and will help them learn about different cultures, discover many common grounds between cultures, and improve their communication and foreign language skills.
Students participating in the Erasmus + Program can stay at universities with partnership agreements for a semester or for the entire academic year. Erasmus students can benefit from the EU mobility grant. Students must return to their home university and complete their program at the end of the Erasmus exchange period.
The credits taken from the partner university are subject to the approval of our department and students apply to the department coordinator and the Erasmus Office to graduate.
Erasmus+ Program at Mardin Artuklu University is managed by the Erasmus Office at institutional level. Erasmus Office is the unit in charge of announcements, applications, selection of students, grants, etc. In addition, our department has an Erasmus Coordinator responsible for academic consultancy and the department's agreements.
