International Economic Science Festival from MAU

The International Artuklu Congress of Economics, Administrative and Political Sciences, organized for the third time this year by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Mardin Artuklu University, was concluded with broad academic participation.

The congress, which began with an opening ceremony in the Culture Hall located on the central campus of Mardin Artuklu University, was attended by over 100 academics from Turkey and abroad, as well as officials from Ömerli Mayor Hüsamettin Altındağ, Organized Industrial Zone President A. Abdulnasır Duyan, AK Party Provincial Vice Chairman Abdullah Özel, and students.

At the opening ceremony, Congress Organizing Committee Chairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Düşünceli and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Çuhadar provided general information about the congress in four languages. Following these, OSB President A. Nasır Duyan and MAU Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan delivered welcoming remarks.

The opening panel, moderated by Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan, included Prof. Dr. Özden Zeynep Oktav, Head of the International Relations Department at Istanbul Medeniyet University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Faruk Aysan attended and presented on the theme "Global Uncertainties and Ways Out."

Over the course of three days, 180 academics from 69 universities in Turkey and abroad (Iraq, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Uganda, Qatar, and the UK) presented 120 papers in four languages, both in person and online, in various sessions.

Professor Dr. Yılmaz Demirhan, Chairman of the Congress Organizing Committee, stated that the third International Congress of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) featured a scientific feast, addressing economic, political, and regional developments from diverse disciplinary perspectives. He emphasized that the event not only contributed to the region's academic visibility but also created a high-quality scientific platform for discussing solutions to global uncertainties.
