Based on subparagraph (a) of paragraph 1 of article 7 of the Energy Efficiency Law No. 5627 dated 8.4.2007, Mardin Artuklu University Energy Management Unit was established to perform the duties specified in the Regulation on Increasing Efficiency in the Use of Energy Resources and Energy published in the Official Gazette No. 28097 dated 27.10.2011 and to act as a monitoring, control, auditing and coordinating body for services and applications.
