CURRICULUM VITAE
Prof. Dr. Adnan Oktay was admitted to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters, Istanbul University in 1996 and graduated in 2000. He then began his master's studies at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University, in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, completing the program with a thesis titled “The Social, Cultural, and Historical Texture in the Divan of Ishak Çelebi of Skopje.”
In 2009, he was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters, Mardin Artuklu University. In the fall semester of the same year, he began his doctoral studies at the Institute of Educational Sciences, Dicle University, in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature Education. He completed his PhD with a dissertation entitled “Nâbî’s Münşeât: Analysis and Text.”
Prof. Dr. Oktay currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters, Mardin Artuklu University.
