Proposal Abstract Writing Guidelines

  1. Content of the Study: The aim, importance, method and findings/conclusion of the study should be addressed clearly in the proposal abstract.
  2. Using the Application Form: The proposal abstract should be sent using the Application Form presented in the symposium web page until March 24, 2025.
  3. Word Limit: The abstract should be prepared within the range of 250-500 words. It is important to clearly express the fundamental information regarding the study within these limits.
  4. Language Use and Keywords: Abstracts are to be written in both Turkish and English. The abstract should be understandable and comply with academic language rules in both languages. In the keywords section, 4-6 keywords should be given in both languages.
  5. Title Format: Only the first letters of the Turkish and English titles in the proposal should be capitalized.
  6. Writing Style and Organization: The proposal should be written using 12 points Times New Roman.
  7. Author Name and Surname: The author's name and surname should be centered just below the title. A footnote should be given at the bottom of the page with an * symbol next to the author's name. The footnote should include the person's title, institution, e-mail address and Orcid information, respectively. If there is more than one author, the order should be based on their contribution to the study.

  1. Page Layout and General Format
    • Paper Size: Paper size should be A4.
    • Margins: Top, bottom, left and right margins should be 2.5 cm.
    • Font and Size: The text should be written in 12 points Times New Roman.
    • Line and Paragraph Spacing: 1,5 line spacing should be used. Paragraph spacing should be 6 pt.
    • Paragraph Indentation: Paragraph indentation should be 1,25 cm.
    • Text Alignment: The text should be justified.
  2. Titles
    • Main Title: The title of the study should be centered at the top of the page, with only the first letters of the words capitalized.

  1. Spelling and grammar rules should be taken into consideration.
  2. Scientific language should be used, unnecessary repetitions and subjective expressions should be avoided.
