The Mevlana Exchange Program facilitates the exchange of students and faculty members between Turkish higher education institutions and those abroad. Established through the Regulation published in the Official Gazette on August 23, 2011, under number 28034, this program enables mobility between higher education institutions globally, without regional restrictions.

Participation in the exchange program requires students to study for a minimum of one semester and a maximum of two semesters, while faculty members can teach at foreign higher education institutions for a minimum of one week and a maximum of three months. The program also welcomes students and faculty members from diverse regions worldwide to visit higher education institutions in Turkey.
