Our Chancellor joins to the opening ceremony of TOGEM (Toplumsal Gelişim Merkezi-Social Developmental Center)
The opening ceremony of TOGEM which was founded within the Municipality of Mardin (Social Developmental Center) and of preschool preparatory class which TOGEM constructed in Kızıltepe was performed in the Kılıçlar Conference Hall at 13:30 p.m on the ninth of December 2011. Mehmet Şimşek, the Minister of Finance and his wife; our Chancellor Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedii Omay, the representatives of the governor; M. Beşir Ayanoğlu, the Mayor of Mardin and his wife; Ali Rıza Şenboğa, the Deputy Mayor of Uskudar; Saadet Günbaran, the General Head of TOGEM, the businessmen of Mardin, the people of Mardin and journalists participated in the ceremony.
In the ceremony, Mehmet Şimşek, the Minister of Finance presented plaques to the beneficients of Mardin; also Saadet Günbaran, the General Head of TOGEM to the wife of the Mayor of Mardin and to Selda Özgün, the Head of Mardin branch of TOGEM.
At the end of the ceremony, Mehmet Şimşek, the Minister of Finance, our Chancellor Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedii Omay and M. Beşir Ayanoğlu, the Mayor of Mardin have souvenir photos taken with the benecifents of Mardin.
